I’m a visual designer/art director based in Boulder, hailing from San Francisco. I'm passionate about design and good causes and have been fortunate to often merge the two. In 2008 I received a master's in nonprofit administration but found my true calling working on the creative side of the organizations I've worked for. After long stints at Mother Jones and The Asia Foundation, I now spend my days heading up creative — providing art direction, design, and layout for campaigns, projects, and materials for Al Gore's Climate Reality Project. On the side, I serve in a creative director consulting capacity and sit on the editorial board of the Broadview Denver.
With a broad skill set and an endless hunger for learning new things, I’m your gal for all things design. I love contrasts in design and life — the salty and sweet, a sans with a serif. Just like me, equal parts creative and analytical, I can easily switch between brainstorming creative visual concepts to being consumed with the best user experience, system, or process for an app, website, or workflow. In addition to graphic design, I'm experienced in video production/editing and motion graphics, as well as some UX/UI and web design to boot!
FUN FACTS: My previous job took me to eight countries and I’ve travelled to 13 others (and counting!) on my own. If you’d like to talk travel, design, do-gooding, or are interested in working together – please reach out!
